Editing a group will change the privilege rights of the members of the group. To edit a group's settings, check and/or uncheck the boxes next to the privileges.
Click Save when you finish editing the group.

Name
This is the identifier for the group. The system groups are named based on their role within the website. Custom groups display the name given them.
Description
This gives a general overview of the privileges and/or role of the group.
Reviewers
These group members will review the content other groups produce and submit before it goes live on the web.
Notifications
Member of the listed groups will be sent a message when the following actions occur:
- Send notification when a new user is added to this group - Choose the group(s) that will receive a message when a user is added to the group being edited.
- Send notification when users in this group publish - Choose the group(s) that will receive a message when a user in the group being edited publishes content.
- Send notification when users in this group submit for review - Choose the group(s) that will receive a message when a user in the group being edited submits pages to be published. This review group should have publishing privileges because when the submitted page is reviewed, the reviewer should be able to publish it.

Owner Pages
These settings will determine what the group being edited can do on their own pages:
- Add Pages - allows a user to create pages within the website
- Add pages to folder - determines which folder the newly created pages will be located in. You can choose to limit users to create pages within a specific folder. Example: you could create a folder named User Pages, then limit users to create pages within that folder.
- Auto-create folder based on users LoudClick ID for new pages - this setting creates a folder with the user's LoudClick ID as the name. The pages they create will be added to the folder.
- Edit Page Properties - allows the user to edit the page properties (page information such as name, address, meta information) for the pages they create.
- Edit Page Sharing - allows the user to edit the sharing settings for the pages they create. Example: whether or not the page is secure and which groups can view it.
- Restrict number of pages added - sets a limit on the number of pages a user can create. Enter a number in the box. Leave blank if you do not want a limit.
- Transfer - allows a user to transfer the ownership of the page they created to another person.
- Delete pages - allows the user to delete the page(s) they create.
- Publish page - allows the user to publish the page(s) they create.
Page Editing
These settings determine how the pages created by the group being edited will look.
- Default Design & Layout - choose the design that users must use when creating their pages. The templates available to the users for their page creation are listed. You can choose to limit the areas of the templates they can edit by checking the box next to the area they can edit. Example: Regular Content-Body - that is the main (middle) area of the page.
- Allow Design & Layout Selection - allows the users to choose the Design & Layout they use for their page. Uncheck the box if you want the user to use the default design.

Add Images
Allows or limits users ability to upload images.
- Upload image to Folder - allows you to specify which folder users can upload images to.
- Add Image Folders - allows the user to create an images folder (a subfolder of the main images folder).
- Delete Image Folders - allows the user to delete image folders they create.
- Restrict image size - allows you to limit the image size users can upload. Enter the maximum size in the box. (in kb).
- Restrict number of images added - allows you to limit the number of images that can be uploaded, regardless of image size. Note: to limit both size and number, put values in both boxes and check both checkboxes.
- Delete images - allows users to delete the images they upload.
Add Files
Allows or limits users ability to upload document or similar files.

- Restrict number of media added - allows you to limit the number of media files that can be uploaded, regardless of media file size. Note: to limit both size and number, put values in both boxes and check both checkboxes.
- Delete media - allows users to delete the media files they upload.

Non-Owner Pages
These settings will determine what the group being edited can do on other user's pages.
- Edit Pages - specify which group's pages this group can edit. Example, if you select the Contributors group, then all pages created by contributors will be editable by the group you are editing.
- Edit Page Properties - allows users to edit the page properties (name, address, meta information) of pages created by users in the selected group.
- Edit Page Sharing - allows users to edit Sharing (who can view the contents of the page) of pages created by users in the selected group.
- Transfer Pages - allows users to transfer the ownership of pages created by users in the selected group.
- Delete Pages - allows users to delete the pages created by users in the selected group.
- Publish Pages - allows users to publish the pages created by users in the selected group.
- Move Pages - allows users to move the pages created by users in the selected group.
Page Editing Rights
These settings determine what the group being edited can change on pages created by other users.
- Design & Layout - Select which design & layout users can edit.
- Allow Design & Layout Selection -Also specify which areas of each design & layout they can edit.
Administration
These settings determine what administration features the group being edited can change.
- Edit Website Sharing - allows users to edit the website sharing (which group to add new registrations to, who gets a notification when a new user is added, where users who accept invitations get placed).
- Edit Groups - allow users to make changes to group sharing settings. Specify which group(s) they can make changes to.
- Edit Folder Sharing - allow users to make changes to folders sharing settings (who can view the pages within the folders).
- Edit Design & Layout - allow users to make changes to the shared (same on every page) elements of the design & layout.
- Edit Website Properties - allow users to make changes to the website properties (the name, web address, meta information, domain name, etc)
- Transfer Website - allow users to transfer the ownership of this website to another person.
