Creating a website is quick and easy.
- Enter a title for your website.
- The web address is created automatically.
- Pick a Design & Layout - the template for your website.
- Click Create My Website and your website will be created.
It's as easy as that.
Website Title
The website title is how the website will be identified within LoudClick. The Website Title will appear on the Dashboard. Acceptable characters include letters, numbers, - and _.
Enter Website Address
This is the URL for the website. The address, or URL, is what people enter into the address bar of their browser to get to this website. Acceptable characters include letters, numbers, - and _. Any spaces or unacceptable characters will be removed from the address upon website creation.
This field is automatically filled in as you enter your website title. You will notice that spaces and/or unacceptable characters are removed. This ensures the Website Address will be acceptable.
Show Advanced Options
To access the Advanced Options, click the down-arrow next to Show Advanced Options. Once displayed. if you want to hide the Advanced Options, click the up-arrow next to Hide Advanced Options. Please see Create Website - Advanced Options for more information.
Pick a Design & Layout - the template for your website
The Design & Layout is the template for the website. It is the look, feel and layout for the pages of your website. Click on the thumbnail and a preview window will open. Select your template by clicking on the radio button adjacent to your selection.
Create My Website
Click the Create My Website button when all the information has been entered. Your website will then be created.
Note: The information entered on Create Website can be edited/updated on the Properties Tab of the Website Manager.
